The popular Space Invaders video game was first created in 1978 by Japanese gaming company Taito and quickly became one of the most iconic games the world has ever known. Interest in the classic arcade game began to fade, and it was later restored in 1998 by a French street artist known as ‘Invader’ who painted images of the characters in cities all over the world such as Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, and Tokyo. Having crossed over into art, Space Invaders has now made its way into fashion in the form of a luxury pendent ($133) due to the collaboration between La Tête Au Cube and silverware designers Christofle. The pendant is made from silver and can be worn as a necklace or key ring.
