adidas Originals Nizza Hi Lux “Giraffes”
The Nizza Hi is to release in Lux form, making up one part of the adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The slender silhouette is decorated in a heavy giraffe print that sits beneath black leather detailing. Perhaps appearing more conservative than most animal-based prints, the model should work well throughout all seasons. Look out for the Nizza Giraffes at select Originals retailers soon.
Nike Dunk High Premium Blue Denim
A counterpart to the Dunk seen here, Nike releases a second colorway of its Denim Premium High, a design which looks to be a part of the brand’s larger FFF (French Football Federation) campaign. The shoes follow a rather simple makeup produced with a dark denim upper and accented with grey leather on the heels, navy blue swoosh and a tri-color French ribbing heel pull. Look for these now through select Nike retail spots.
Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Black/Cool Grey/Volt
Similar to the colorway seen here, Nike welcomes another option in its Zoom Huarache Trainer coming in the always welcomed black/grey/volt colorway. The kicks feature a leather/nubuck upper with volt and grey accents along with a gradient midsole. Look for these now through select Nike retailers.
MIHARAYASUHIRO for Silly Thing Half Zip Sneaker Preview
Silly Thing founder TK fills us in on his latest collaborative project, this time working with Japanese fashion designer Mihara Yasuhiro and his label MIHARAYASUHIRO. No stranger to sneaker design, Yasuhiro has become well-known for his continued role with PUMA and their footwear program. This latest project finds Mihara bringing his talents to the other side of the pond, as both creatives develop a pair of half-zip sneakers in a leopard print motif, capped off with a leather toecap and off-white laces. No further information is available at the moment but stay tuned.
Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals by Originals JS Bear Brown
This season has been the wildest to date from the Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals by Originals Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The JS Bear has undoubtedly been the front runner for neck-breaker of the year with a full-fledged teddy bear occupying the sneaker’s tongue. The sneaker is available now through select retailers.
Billionaire Boys Club Damage Denim Jacket
Billionaire Boys Club has now released its Damage Denim Jacket. Finished with a vintage wash, the navy jacket has been heavily stressed to present the illusion of years of wear and tear. The jacket is fitted with a rear belt which should secure a proper fit; buttoned cuffs, a stiff collar and is fastened by a column of metal buttons. Finally, a trio of badges are placed on the right shoulder. The jacket is now available from BBC Tokyo.
Nike Air Max NM
Nike brings back another diamond classic as we see the return of its Air Max NM for Spring 2011. Originally introduced in 1996, the sneakers were the first edition of two made for then Los Angeles Dodger’s pitching phenom Hideo Nomo. Taking the baseball world by storm, The Tornado would go on to become the Rookie of the Year in 1995 and the first ever Japanese pitcher to record a no-hitter in Major League Baseball history, eventually ending his career with two. For those interested, a varsity red/black version of the sneaker is now making its way to select Nike accounts, including Premier.
