Mackdaddy x Ambush | Mackdaddy x Garni

Mackdaddy got together with Verbal and his Ambush brand to collaborate on a crewneck sweater. The sweater comes in two colorways and features a bold color graphic on the front. They will be released at Height Osaka and the Mackdaddy store on December 5th. Furthermore the brand worked with fellow Japanese brand Garni on a series of leopard leather goods, including two wallets. These will be released on the same day.

Dr Martens x Subversive Jewelry for Semi-Automatic

As Dr. Martens approaches their 50th Anniversary, they continue to push the envelope of design and creativity by enlisting CFDA Award-winning designer Justin Giunta of Subversive Jewelry to create four pairs of one-of-a-kind boots. These creations of wearable art will be featured exclusively during Art Basel Miami at The Mondrian Hotel in Semi-Automatic, the high-end vending machine in the hotel’s lobby which is being curated by Interview magazine during the fair. Four one-of-a-kind pairs are priced starting at $1,400, during Art Basel Miami Beach, December 3 – 6, 2009.

Nixon Holiday 2009 Orange Rubber Player

Next up in Nixon’s ongoing Rubber Player program is a solid orange number with contrast black details. If it seems familiar, Nixon did release a Fluro orange version in August, but the black hands (and diamond!) really set this one off. Drops later this month at select Nixon retailers including Silo.

Coarse Toys False Friends | HKG Edition

Coarse Toys unveils their latest creation. The new release consists of “the colossal paw! and a freshly hatched noop, robed in his heavenly soft paw! suit. The pair comes in glowing spring colors, put to sleep between two cotton pillows, every one embroidered with the individual running number. Safely packed in a hand crafted wooden box with a monkey rabbit nose handle and enclosed with an elastic band. Each set includes one coarse family and friends application card.” The set is limited to 200 pieces and will be available January 7, 2010. A limited Christmas presale takes place at coarsehkg online store on December 10, 2009.

Juice Shanghai Opening Items | Original Fake, Subcrew, etc

For the opening of their new Juice Shanghai store the CLOT crew has worked on some special items. Together with Original Fake they present a t-shirt. Also with Hong Kong’s Subcrew brand they worked on a tee. Furthermore they present the Xiao Long Bao tee, featuring a graphic involving the infamous dumplings. These items will be exclusive to the new Juice Shanghai store.

The A Bathing Ape empire is set to open an all new Asian location as Singapore represents the latest outpost. The retailer will be located within the Mandarin Gallery with a opening date just in time for Christmas on December 17th. The Hundreds x DeLorean Motor Co. DMC-12 “Black JAGS”

To tie together a massive project for The Hundreds involving the DeLorean Motor Co., the Los Angeles-based brand has created a custom version of DeLorean’s easily recognizable DMC-12. Marked by a stainless steel and gullwing doors, this special version features The Hundreds’ own popular Black JAGS pattern in tonal form on a black paint job. The car will be exhibited on Thursday, December 3rd at The Hundreds Los Angeles and Saturday, December 5th at The Hundreds San Francisco. Eventually the car will be sold to any serious inquiries.

KiD CuDi – Cudderisback

Kid CuDi unleashes a new track entitled, Cudderisback. No official word on the placement of the record, but serves as a holiday gift to the listeners. Expect some big things from CuDi and the G.O.O.D. Music camp in the next couple months. In the meantime, check it out!

Original Fake Holiday 2009 X-Mas Pack

In time for the holidays Original Fake is coming out with their 2009 X-Mas pack. The pack consists of a pocket v-neck sweater, quilted hooded jacket, beanie and socks. All pieces come in a red/black colorway and come as a pack in a matching red Original Fake shopping bag. The beanie is reversible. We would think that the release takes place this weekend at the Original Fake flagship store in Tokyo.

The other day we reported already about BlakRoc, the collaboration between The Black Keys and some of the biggest names in hip hop, including Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA, Raekwon, Pharoahe Monch, Jim Jones, NOE, Nicole Wray and Billy Danze. Here we give you a look at the new BlakRoc Chevy Camaro.

The Hundreds x DeLorean Motor Company Collection

The Hundreds teamed up with the DeLorean Motor Company to pay homage the iconic DMC-12. “Each T-shirt is a different take on DeLorean and DMC-12 from a The Hundreds perspective, mirroring various Southern California car culture tees, while still maintaining an appealing design for our customer and DMC enthusiast alike. The New Era baseball cap is also a salute to DMC’s aesthetic. The 3 Adam Bomb emblems are indicative of the 3 letters on the car’s grill, and the undervisor pattern is derived from the DMC-12’s familiar back taillights.” A DMC-12 will be on display outside The Hundreds’ LA store this Thursday, and at the SF location this Friday and Saturday. The gear drops this Thursday at both locations.

Cool Cats x Kangol Beanie Preview

Michael of La MJC previews an up coming collaboration between storied headwear company Kangol and his own Cool Cats creative collective. Two different beanies are shown, one in black/white/grey and a second featured in the French colors with black lining. Each boasts dueling embroidered logos for each brand, pairing Kangol’s Kangaroo against the almighty Cool Cat. Stay tuned for further details.

DJ AM x Nike Dunk High Premium

Although there was some uncertainty regarding an actual release of his project with Nike, DJ AM’s Dunk Hi is now seen in its entirety, although unfortunately it comes after the famed DJ’s tragic and untimely passing. The shoes themselves remain quite simple, playing off a theme of patent leather and premium leather along with 3M perforated heel detailing amongst a black/red/grey color scheme. Rounding off the design is a tribute DJ AM logo placed on the tongue. Rumors have it that there should be another sneaker from the set due to drop although no further information has been released. For those interested, they are now available through Korean retailer Kasina, with a US release sure to come.

Super 2010 Spring/Summer “People” Sunglasses

Italian eyewear company Super reveal a new model from its upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2010. The “People” frame features another familiar retro style silhouette from Super with slight adjustments made the the traditionally flat top. Five different colorways are shown, each playing off a Summer Safari theme with all featuring highly coveted Carl Zeiss lenses.

SpongeBob SquarePants Plush by Karl Lagerfeld

A SpongeBob SquarePants plush given a makeover by Karl Lagerfeld attracted the highest bid at a recent Paris fundraiser for WWF, generating 1,000 Euros (Approx. $1,499 USD) at current exchange. Numerous local personalities had autographed iconic objects linked to the cartoon character for the auction, which altogether raised 7,000 Euros (Approx. $10,491 USD), including Inès de la Fressange, French singer Patrick Bruel and Greek TV presenter Nikos Aliagas.
